JOB PURPOSE:

The Sourcing Coordinator will be the liaison for cross functional teams in the execution of the different phases of the product (part) life cycle to support Midco’s strategic initiatives. You will help the organization achieve its goals through finding sourcing solutions for products at the ideal cost and quality. You will also find yourself analyzing data in your pursuit to identify potential areas for improvement for the organization.

KEY FUNCTIONS:

• Manage data throughout the part life cycle to include item creation, attributes, and end of life planning and execution.
• Monitor item data integrity within various procurement and supply chain systems and escalate issues when appropriate.
• Works with vendors and internal team members to qualify new products (parts).
• Coordinate vendor, RFQ and RFI process, in support of the procurement strategy and business goals.
• Collaborate with the purchasing team and other internal stakeholders to conduct thorough RFPs and provide analysis on vendor submittals.
• Pull data to support the evaluation process of vendor performance.
• Partner with leadership to preform benchmark analysis to identify potential cost gaps and risk across commodities.
• Align strategy and tactical plans on product transitions with Operations, Finance, and Safety.
• Assist with the communication to stakeholders on introduction, modification, or discontinuation of products including transition of part numbers, the use of inventory and ordering expectations.
• Assist leadership with oversite of project tasks to support completion of initiatives through clear communication of expectations and escalating issues to leadership when they arise.
• Provide data and analysis to support re-negotiations of business and/or service agreements.
• Follow and serve as a role model in displaying Midco’s Core Values and Leadership Success Drivers.
• Adhere to Midco’s privacy guidelines to ensure each customer’s privacy.
• Maintain regular attendance as required by your position.

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION: 

• Bachelor’s degree in business or related field or equivalent experience required.
• 2 years minimum purchasing or supply chain experience required.
• Advance knowledge of Microsoft Excel required.
• Intermediate to advanced knowledge of parts management methodology. Strong understanding of Microsoft ERP preferred.
• Six Sigma/ Lean certification or exposure to these methodologies preferred.
• Telecommunications experience preferred.

WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, or crouch.
• The noise level in the work environment is quiet.
• Required to periodically travel to other Midcontinent locations, supplier locations, and trade and industry shows.
• Employees may be required to work in excess of 40 hours per week and other than normal business hours, such as holidays, evenings and weekends as business demands.

JOB PURPOSE:

Deliver high quality creative service to advertising customers through project management, copywriting, scripting, planning story boards and  gathering creative elements.

KEY FUNCTIONS:

• Manage the customer transition from point of sale to the production process and into an ongoing service relationship.
• Serve as the point of contact for customers and project management of the Production process.
• Partner with the Production and Sales Teams to provide creative direction.
• Lead brainstorming sessions to develop television commercial concepts and digital advertising that will effectively meet the customer’s needs.
• Manage storyboard creation and the script writing process; gather creative elements including logos, props, voice and acting talent.
• Present new creative concepts, campaigns and completed commercials to customers with energy and persuasiveness.
• Recognize and respect the time of customers ensuring that client meetings, shoots and revisions are well coordinated and timed.
• Provide new and original ideas to meet our customers’ diverse requirements.
• Understand assigned customer’s individual contracts and proactively ensure their expectations are met.
• Operate and drive a Company vehicle in accordance with all Midco policies including maintaining a safe driving record.

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:

• High School diploma or GED.
• Bachelor’s degree in journalism, television production, advertising or equivalent is preferred.
• Knowledge of digital advertising preferred.
• Three to Five years of experience in television production, advertising or marketing is required.
• Advertising copy writing preferred.

WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS: 

• The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, or The employee must occasionally lift and/or carry loads of up to 30 lbs.
• The noise level in the work environment is moderate to loud.
• In-person visits to a customer’s place of business are normal in the performance of this job. Specific abilities required include accessing a customer's place of business by stairs or elevator, operating doors or other entrances, navigating hallways and buildings, etc., and adapting successfully to a constantly changing environment.
• Employees may be required to work in excess of 40 hours per week and other than normal business hours, such as holidays, evenings and weekends as business demands.

Shader

• Shades cameras during live game and uses equipment to verify that the light levels and coloring meet specifications.

• On-the-job-training provided by the Engineer.

Audio 2

• Assistant to Audio 1, the primary audio operator. Participates in setup and troubleshooting technical issues during game.

• One year experience on Cal Rack and Avid Audio systems.

Replay

• Operates EVS, Dyno and DNF controls for in-game highlights and replays.

• One year experience on Dyno and EVS controls.

Chyron 1

• Creates team, statistics, and Midco SN graphics using the Chyron system. Proof all graphics prior to sending to Technical Director.

• One year experience operating a Chyron system and Photoshop software.

Chyron 2

• Assists Chyron 1 by accurately providing accurate recent statistical information.

• Experience operating a Chyron system and Photoshop software.

Chyron 3

• Operates the Scorebug with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail to ensure the score, timeouts, etc. are accurate.

• Some experience operating a Chyron system and Photoshop software.

Time-Out Coordinator

• Works closely with Producer and game officials to ensure breaks run on schedule.

• On-the-job training provided by the Producer.

Grip/Utility

• Responsible for handling cables for the floor camera operators.

• On-the-job training provided.

Parabolic

• Responsible for running the parabolic microphone.

• On-the-job training provided.

Studio Tech

• Assists with audio, camera and graphics.

• One year experience with advertising or television production.

Sideline

• Responsible for sideline reporting during a game.

• One year experience with reporting.

Load-in-Crew

• Assists with equipment set-up prior to a game or event.

• On-the-job training provided by the Engineer.

Midco Sports is looking for candidates that can work in a fun, fast paced environment and have the flexibility to work nights and weekends. Positions may require the employee to occasionally lift and/or carry loads up to 70lbs and be exposed to outside weather conditions and loud noises. Crew House members are expected to Communicate effectively and professionally in all forms of communication with internal and external customers.
